Program was just migrated from win2k to winxp by feeding it the correct license codes. Alas, when I try to run the new hotfix ru758101au.exe, it comes back with the message "the updater could not find a valid copy of retrospect installed" I'd like to fix this w/out a complete reinstall. nekr0phage Posted October 17, 2006 Report Share Posted October 17, 2006 When you say the program was migrated, do you mean that you dragged the Retrospect program folder over to the new machine? This would not be considered an installation, and will not have the hooks necessary for Retrospect to automatically update.
