BDMSTUDIOS
Hi, Since my reboot this morning I get the system notification the RS 10.0.1.221 is linking with https://www.appclicks.com/ Is this new for this version and why was there no linking to this website from the previous version? On 29 mrt. 2013, Retrospect tried to establish a connection to data.appclicks.com on TCP port 443 (https). The request was denied via connection alert./Applications/Retrospect/Retrospect.app/Contents/MacOS/Retrospect Deny TCP connections to port 443 (https) of data.appclicks.com Process Owner: Me IP Address: 23.21.56.241 Thanks for reading and directions! bleary
well, I just went to the address to see who they are, which made it pretty clear. "Licensing and analytics". "Trusted by Retrospect and Drobo." (how comforting.) Screen shot attached. Hi all, 45 views and not a single reply and/or direction? David W Lee
Appclicks is the service we use for tracking anonymous system profile information. When invoking the Retrospect Console the first time you can opt-in or opt-out to "Help improve Retrospect". You can also change your opt preferences at any time in Preferences > Console. When enabled, Retrospect tracks anonymous information such as version of OS, # and types (but not contents) of media sets, etc. When disabled, Retrospect sends an opt-out event to Appclicks and then stops tracking.
