prl Posted March 22, 2013 Report Share Posted March 22, 2013 Also, the new documentation doesn't seem to document the main new feature in Retrospect 10, Instant Scan. It also has a lot of very dated screenshots, some showing the old EMC2 logo, some showing version numbers starting with 6 and 7. Wasn't EMC2 the second-last owner of Retrospect? David W Lee Posted March 22, 2013 Report Share Posted March 22, 2013 Specifically for Instant Scan, the goal is for it to be as transparent as possible while simply making the scan phase of backups faster. We have additional improvements and features planned towards that goal. Improvements on the overall documentation are done in phases.
