555b50a8-9781-4b58-a1d7-b5f91d38f1a6
Here's the issue. I've been using Retrospect Express to back up my computer for about 6 months now. Recently my computer died and it will cost more than the price of a new computer to fix it. Suffice it to say, I'd rather get a newer, faster computer fix an older machine. This didn't strike me as a big deal until I noticed that Retrospect isn't backing up easily accessed files that I can move from computer to computer via my external hard drive. What I need to know is how I can extract files from the restore points I have saved on my external hard drive? Clearly all the data are there, but I'm at a loss as to how to access those files (photos, documents, etc.). I'd appreciate it if someone could walk me through the steps necessary to extract them. Thanks.
Mayoff
You install the express software and click the restore button. The wizard will walk you through the rest.
