cinmcw
I hope I'm in the right area for posting this question. Right now, my Retrospect files are located in My Documents. I'd like to place them into a different folder. How would I do this? If I just place them into a different folder, Retrospect cannot locate them. Thank you very much for your help. orange
Move them to where you want them....then double click them to open them up in retrospect. Retrospect then remembers this new location. si

I'm using 6.0 for Windows and from one session to the next, Retrolspect (for me at least) definitely does NOT remember the new file location. I was hoping that someone could suggest a registry fix. orange
http://forums.dantz.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=multiserver&Number=52349 works on 6.5 and 7.0 (windows) cos i've done it. ..i'm sure it worked on 6.0 too (it's in the manual). si PS this would probably be best posted in one of the other forums - this is for advanced tape support ! philx509
Thanks. This did work in Retro 6.0. However, this approach is a pain. Is there any way to change the _default_ path?
natew
Hi To the best of my knowlege the default path cannot be changed. You could put a shortcut to your desired path in the default Retrospect path. That way you can at least get there with one click. Nate
