executer
Hi everybody, I'm a little confused about the usage of the Recovery Storage Group (RSG) on Exchange 2k3 and Retrospect 7.0. The manual says on page 342 in a note: /schnipp If you are restoring to an Exchange 2003 Server that uses Recovery Storage Groups the selected source is always restored to the recovery storage group. /schnapp I haven't found a way to do this. If I use a RSG I get error -3619 Database not found. I could modify the registry as said in KB824126, but I still can't restore to the RSG. Now I found an articel [1] telling me Retrospect is not able to restore to a RSG: /schnipp Retrospect does not support backing up or restoring to recovery storage groups. /schnapp I'm not shure what to believe. Could anybody give me a hint about the meaning of this? I'm trying to restore to the RSG because I want to stop saving all the single mailboxes. [1] What's new in Retrospect 7.0 Thanks for any hints. executer
Mayoff
The user's guide was not correct. Retrospect does not support the recovery storage groups. Sorry
