bob55612
I've been receiving many error messages similar to the one shown in the subject line, like 112 reported with the last immediate backup. The files listed refer to my Norton Protected Recycle Bin. The backup operation doesn't stop but the errors are reported. I use Retrospect Express 6.5.342 and Win XP Home w/SP2. Backups are written to a Western Digital 80 GB External USB 2.0 HD. Were the files actually backed up? Is this a serious problem? Is there a work-around with Retrospect? natew
Hi The files were probably not backed up. Note that the error you posted is regarding files in the recycle bin. You may simply want to exclude these from backup anyway. If you upgrade to Retrospect 7 you will get open file backup on the local computer so errors like this won't occur. Thanks Nate
