bjtuna
I installed the debian package retroclient_6.5.108-1-woody0_i386 (on a debian sarge machine) and the client started up just fine. The backup server successfully detects my client and was able to login successfully. However its status is showing up as 'Inactive'. retrocpl shows 'currently on'. I'm not sure what else to do from here. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks, -Brian
natew
Hi Does starting and stopping the client service make any difference? What happens when you try to back up? Do you get an error message? Thanks Nate
bjtuna
Starting/stopping the client service makes no difference; I guess I should have mentioned that I'd already tried that. I cannot back up because the 'Inactive' status causes the backup server to skip it.
natew
Hi Do you have multiple NICs or a virtual NIC on the linux machine? Try binding the client to one IP address using the retroclient -ip command. Thanks Nate
