vksmjones Posted March 7, 2005 Report Share Posted March 7, 2005 This may need to be under tape support, but any time I perform functions on the tape library like erasing multiple tapes, I get the warning message "Really erase selected media in device "Magfile Library, ID 7:0"? I have 2 libraries. The address for the first one is 5:0 and the address for the second one is 6:0. There is no library at 7:0 and I get this message no matter what library I am working with. natew Posted March 8, 2005 Report Share Posted March 8, 2005 Hi Is the library on the same SCSI ID as the host adapter or another SCSI device? Make sure you disable the windows drivers for both the libraries and the tape drives in the Windows device manager. Retrospect has its own drivers.
