user mailbox does not appear in Retrospect’s Source Selection

I have a series of scripts that backup my server computer container and all of my individual mailboxes (contained in a single group). Everything appears to work fine from the standpoint of mailbox backups since I have been able to restore successfully in the past. My problem is that one solitary user mailbox simply does not show in Retrospect’s Source Selection, thus I can’t back it up. This was discovered purely by accident since it shows in the Exchange Server console and behaves normally. Rather than start with Dantz technical support and getting the runaround I though I’d try the forums first …….

 

System as follows: W2K server, Exchange 2003, Retrospect single server 6.5343 with Exchange client.

There may be something wrong with the mailbox itself. Do new mailboxes show up in Retrospect? If so you could export the mailbox to a pst file, create a new mailbox and import the pst back in.
