Problems with new external hard drive

I purchased a Maxtor 120GB USB 2.0 external hard drive recently, and got the one-touch feature to work just fine. I ran into problems with the hard drive itself. I had to exchange it. When I tried to setup the one-touch config, it would not connect again, and said it could not find the existing hard drive (which I returned). I uninstalled Retrospect Backup, and re-installed it. It still did not work. Is there a file I have to manually delete in order to reset the software?
