rgallim Posted October 13, 2004 Report Share Posted October 13, 2004 I just purchased your single server backup software for my 2003 server. I need a little guidance. I want to reuse the old DAT tapes from our previous software. I am having a problem doing this. My problem is I have it set to do a recycle backup every Tuesday and Thursday. I want to rotate 10 tapes so I figure this is the best way to do it. When I come in after it is suppose to do the backup the tape is automatically ejected and it says to please insert the media without doing a bakup. Once I do this and click proceed it works. I tried to erase the media prior to the backup and it is still happening. What am I missing? Obviously I want to just change tapes without having to do anything else. Ron Gallimore, CISSP I.T.
