retrospect backup 5.6 problems

I am still having issues with backing up using ver 5.6.

 

 

 

Setup is as following:

 

 

 

NT ver 4.0 service pack 5

 

Tape Device: DEC DLT2700

 

 

 

the problem I am still having is once the backup has finished with the first tape, it puts it back to

 

the tape library and then sits, it does not grab another tape. When I first insert the cartridge (carrier)

 

it picks up tape 1 automtically and when I tell it to scan media, it goes through all seven tapes.

 

 

 

I rebuilt the machine, all new scripts, backup sets, labeled the tapes and also erased all the tapes (tried

 

both ways) and it still only does one tape and stops. The tape drive was ran in automatic and locked modes,

 

retrospect was in unnattended mode (scheduled time).

 

 

 

Do you have anything else I could try.
