Otto1
Hello, i'm using Retrospect 6.5 in our company since approx. 3 month now. We have to store 800 GB data on a Sony Autoloader AIT3. Every 4th of friday a recycle-backup is going to be started. Every other day it's going to be a "normal Backup". Today i've taken a look at the snapshot to see if Retrospect saved a directory (600mb) that was created yesterday, but unfortunately Retrospect didn't backup that new-created directory . So my questions is now: Is a Normal-Backup just storing the files and directories whom already existed during the Recycle-Backup?? Because otherwise it should have stored the new created directory too last night. How can i tell Retrospect to backup every file and directory who was changed OR new created since the last Normal-Backup? Hope my english wasn't that bad (german) and it's understandable what kind of problem i have. Thanks in advance already, Otto Fischl
FuzzyJohn
New files and folders should be included in a "normal backup" if their parent container is included. Check your selectors to make sure that nothing there excludes the new folder and its files or possibly their parent container.
