We have about 100 laptops here and it's a nightmare to schedule the client install. Retrospect needs a lot of hand-holding to get started. 1.) client needs unique password. 2.) client install can't easily be automated (we failed at it.) 3.) client not on the official list until added to the server 4.) server needs client pasword to add 5.) no way to save default client password so we're not prompted eternally for the same password over and over again. It would sure be nice if I could roll out an MSI and then retrospect would attempt to back up new computers via proactive backup if the client password matches a saved default password on the server.
