john alphaone Posted June 22, 2004 Report Share Posted June 22, 2004 I have Windows XP Pro, Retrospect 6.5.350, latest driver updates, Certance Tapestor Travan 40Gb tape drive recognised as Seagate STT3401A in XP. First backup to the tape works ok, second backup gives "Catalog file out of sync with backup set...". This occurs consistently. Help, please. Installing the drivers that came with the device as opposed to the XP supplied ones. 2. Exiting and restarting Retrospect between sessions, so the you see that "Qutting..." message.
