Nnyan Posted February 7, 2002 Report Share Posted February 7, 2002 I'm having a problem using Retrospect 5.6 with an HP SureStore DAT 24x6e (C1557A) running on NT 4 Server. The scripts execute fine the first day but on the 2nd day it will prompt for new media. If I insert a new cartridge it will proceed with NP. I would like a M-F backup using 5 seperate tapes for each day (I am only backing up 10gb on the 24gb tape) on the same cartridge, only changing cartridges at the start of the week. JoeyPesicek Posted May 3, 2002 Report Share Posted May 3, 2002 There was a sample script setup in the FAQ section of the website. I did use that scenario myself, and it does work well. Basically, you need to create 5 individual scripts to execute on specific days of the week, and point each script to a different tape.
