john88
I have just started backing up clients two weeks ago this Friday. Whenever a user leaves outlook or another application open on their backup night, the next day they call me complaining because they no longer have various shortcuts, Outlook does not send/receive automatically anymore, or they find nothing in the "My Documents" folder! Why does Retrospect do this, and is there a way to avoid it?
AmyJ
You can turn off the option to have Retrospect force quit Outlook on backup in your script Options under "Outlook."
john88
Thanks, I will try that. This morning another XP user (always seems to be XP) lost his "my documents", and he said all applications were closed. Something is not right with Retro and XP pro.
