Colby
I upgraded to retrospect desktop 5 and upgraded my clients as well. Now I cannot see my clients on my network when I'm in retrospect. I think I've found the problem, but I'm not sure how to fix it. In the client control panel it says that I'm connected through appletalk and not TCP/IP. According the the manual, it can't backup through appletalk. I'm not sure how to change my client from appletalk to TCP/IP. Can someone help me?!?!? ZakB
You will need to run the Retrospect Client uninstaller in order to uninstall the 5.0 client. Then, reboot your client machine. When your client system is back up, run the Retrospect Client installer again. Your clients should appear on the network. 5.0 does not support AppleTalk clients. -Zak
