langley101
Is there a way to have Retrospect warn you when a tape is close to full, preferably through email? I've got a simple 3 week (3 AIT tape) rotation which works great, except the tape will fill up occasionaly when someone starts generating a lot of files. It's so infrequent that I don't want to create a more complicated backup strategy, but I also don't want calls from my client that last night's backup didn't run because Retrospect is waiting for a new tape. If it can't warn you, is it easy to have Retrospect do a full backup to one tape, then use another for the incrementals throughout the week? At least then I can plan on 2 tapes per week on a regular schedule. We are using Retrospect 4.3. Thanks.
