kbowley
I Purchased 6.5 recently, mainly for it's open file backup ability. I am used to veritas so maybe I'm just missing something here. Ok, I can't seem to find a file browser to select the files/folders I wan't to backup with an easy script. the only thing I see is some windows to manually type in what folders to backup or exclude? There has to be a better way than this. am I missing something here? In Veritas you simple open the browser and tick off which folders/files you wish to include and off ya go. I can't find such a option in Retrospect. Any help would be appreciated. Kevin
kbowley
when clicking "selections", go to the advanced view...right click on "include everything"...check selectors..click on the drive{s} tick on or off the folders/files...right click in empty area..save selector as...then back to selections and select the previous named selector. Is this correct??
