Retrospect never auths/starts

Launching the Retrospect application, it displays a dialog that requires I authenticate as an administrator.

 

 

 

After doing so, Retrospect attempts to start; the Retrospect icon bounces in the dock, appears to launch, and then immediately exits.

 

 

 

Immediately after, the authentication dialog appears again. Respect again attempts to start.

 

 

 

This cycle repeats ad infinitum.

 

 

 

I'm running MacOS X Server 10.1.3, and my configuration is slightly non-standard (but not much)

 

Home directories are stored on a seperate partition mounted a /Users

 

Other than that, everything is standard (or close to it).
