lafong Posted March 6, 2004 Report Share Posted March 6, 2004 Please update the manual to stress disabling tape drives and autoloaders in Windows Device Manager. Enabled Windows tape devices is a cause, perhaps the main cause, of failed autoloading behavior in Retrospect for Windows. Retrospect & Windows appear to be competing for the drives, and Retrospect is losing. Either that or get the "Stop Removable Storage Manager" preference to actually work as advertised.
