Automatic Backups to Mapped Network Disk Fail

I'm using Rectrospect 6.5 Professional (not the client) to backup my computer to a external hard drive on my nework that's configured as a TCP/IP mapped network disk. Backups are successful if Retrospect is launched manually, but scheduled backups are help up until I manually lauch Retrospect again.


I'm running Windows XP, and my user account has administrator priviledges. Seems like a permissions error of some sort to me.


Any help would be much appreciated,
