big_al Posted April 12, 2002 Report Share Posted April 12, 2002 I am running an SONY AIT SDX300C Tape Drive, MAC OS 10 and I am having SCSI Adapter problems. Is anyone using a ATTO UL3S Adapter with this configuration. We had just bought the Adaptec 29160 but its not compatible with the AIT and our old Adaptec 2940 is now a lite paper weight. I wonder if using an external FireWire / SCSI adapter would end-run any of these problems? Oops, just found the "FireSCSI Xpress" thread. Looks like that won't work.
