Desktop 6 client backup stalls

I have installed Desktop 6 on my Mac G4 Tower, and Retrospect Client on my wifes G4 iMac, both running OS 10.2.8

On the first attempt to back up the client using Immediate Backup everything went fine until halfway through the 2nd CD when the process hangs up with 313M left to go , 616M done, and 399 execution errors.

There is a message on the client screen about the errors, but clicking OK does not change anything.

File sharing is off on both machines.

The log mentions error information for the Pioneer CD-R-RDI as

"Bad backupset header found"

The CD's are Fujifilm which have worked for burningCD's with this macine in the past.

Any advice would be appreciated.
