MHamilton
I had previously used Retrospect express 5.6.132 to backup Novell server 5.1 using windows 98se. I am the administrator of the network When I upgraded my computer to XP-Pro and then installed all of the updates retrospect failed to backup the network drives. I received errors. Mostly "Can't access source volume, error -1102 (drive missing/unavailable). I was logged into both Win XP-Pro and Novell as the administrator. I finally used the XP-Pro Administrative Tools Services (Start/Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Services). I selected Retrospect launcher from the Service (local) list. Then selected the log on tab and selected "this account" then browse. Then select "Advance". Then Find now and select Network Service. Then click ok and ok again. Then I entered my admin password in the two boxes for password and clicked ok. This allowed the backup to "see" the network drive after selection of files.
