bjprice
R Pro 6.5.336, Win XP Pro SP1 I'm unclear about what partition operations the DR CD will perform. I boot up in C:\ but XP is on D:\. The DR CD was created from a backup of D:\. If I have to rebuild my PC from scratch, do I have to manually partition my disks first or will the DR recovery process do that for me? Will whatever files are necessary on c:\ (boot.ini, e.g.,) be restored by the DR process or do I have to do it manually. I've seen a technote about restores failing because a hidden OEM partition had to be reinstalled manually before Retrospect DR could do its thing. Is that the same situation I'm in (though my C:\ is not hidden Thanks for your thoughts on this.
AmyJ
The DR CD loads the MS Windows installer, which will prompt you to select a partion for installation of the Temp OS.
