tangledwebster Posted December 9, 2003 Report Share Posted December 9, 2003 Hi, I'm curious about what happens when retrospect is asked to restore directories/files that are not longer present on the destination drive of the restore operation...? Scenario, I want to reninstall my laptop with a fresh clean install of everything as it was from the day of factory shipping, and their is bound to be way less file directories and places for files than what currently exists. Example, Old Drive: c:FileFolder/SubfileFolder/file New Drive: c:FileFolder What happens when retrospect has all these old and no longer existing files and directories and I want it to restore them...?
