I have been tasked with setting up a script to run a backup using the following schedule: Friday -- Full Backup (tape to be named FULL) Monday -- incremental Backup to new Tape ( tape to be named INCRE) Tuesday -- append incremental backup to INCRE tape Wednesday -- append incremental backup to INCRE tape Thursday append incremental backup to INCRE tape I'm not keen on backing up Mon - Thurs to one tape, but it's not my call (and thankfully, it won't be my butt if something goes awry).
