LisaHuz
My office used Retrospect Express 5.6 to backup our data files to a DVD. Then, they wanted to do a restore to make sure all the data was properly backed up, so they used Retrospect to restore the data to a new folder. Now that everything checked out ok, we want to delete the restored files- but can't. When we try to delete through Windows, get a message that says "Cannot remove folder SearchDBDT: The directory is not empty". Tried to find a way to use Retrospect to delete but can't. Reason this is such a problem is that we have a daily offsite backup and this has effectively doubled our data size (they restored to a folder within the folder that gets backed up offisite), which is a problem unless we upgrade to a higher service level (which would be expensive and unneccessary). LisaHuz
Nevermind- we finally found a way to delete. In case anyone else ever has this problem, if you go to File, Open in the Retrospect software, then navigate to the restored folder, you can right-click on the folder from within the Open window and it will delete.
