Carob
Hello. Can anyone point me to some sites that possibly has information on setting up a Disaster Recovery Plan? We our currently using Retrospect to backup several servers that we have but we are gathering information on setting up a larger plan. Specifically the Disaster Recovery Plan which will include offsite backups. Whether that will include just keeping tapes offsite or to actually backup data to an offsite location is still to be determined. I would like to find some info on backing up data directly to an offsite location no matter which method we choose however. If anyone can provide a starting point to gather such information I would appreciate it. Thank you very much!!!
Fury
http://www.drj.com/new2dr/samples.htm This is from Cisco, but it is a good general guide, clear and well-written: http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/63/disrec.html http://www.infrastructures.org/bootstrap/recovery.shtml It's a start for you, anyway. Hope it helps. Fury
