Guest Posted October 21, 2003 Report Share Posted October 21, 2003 hello, OS X 10.2.8. two macs, one running retrospect 5.1, the other the 5.1 client. since performing the upgrade from 5.0 to 5.1, the mac running retrospect now gets two identical errors for each of its internal hard drives. FscGetFSRef: FSMakeFSSpec failed for file , error -43 this doesn't happen for a mounted pen drive. nor does it happen for the mac backed up via the client. anybody know what this means? If you've turned on the Secret Preference for File System Logging then you're seeing the ordinarily hidden information Retrospect generates when dealing with file calls.
