KarenDyer Posted October 7, 2003 Report Posted October 7, 2003 The system freezes when loading the client . . . I can see the control panel extension and it hangs right there. Trashing the extension is the only way to get the machine up and running. I have turned off most of the extensions and nothing works. Help! Karen

AmyC suggested moving the Retrospect Client to the extensions folder, removing the degree symbol and adding an explanation mark, make an alias of the client and put it in the control panels folder. This did NOT work . What did work was following all of the above steps but also adding a space before the explanation mark when changing the name.
