baytonemus
Hi- I just upgraded from Retrospect Express 4.3 to v.5.1.175. I'm running a large (20gig+) backup to a set of DVD-RAM (5.2 gig) disks on my G4-450 in OS 9.2.2 and Retrospect is ejecting each disk in the set, then asking for the same disk to be reinserted. When I do, it then writes about another 300 mb on that disk before reaching capacity. I'm formatting the disks for Mac 2.3 gig extended. Any thoughts? AmyJ
This usually occurs as a result of an extension conflict - another program (extension) may be trying to access the drive while Retrospect is using it. Try booting with OS Base Extensions and repeat the backup. If the problem goes away you'll need to isolate the conflicting extension. See www.apple.com for additional information on extensions troubleshooting.
