Kyawa
I would like the backup to proceed without looking at the mounted network drive. The PC with the mounted network drive is turned off each night. Can anyone tell me if there is a way to exclude network drives? Thanks
AmyJ
Retrospect will back whatever you have listed as a "Source" in your script. Make sure your script sources are the individual hard drives that you do want to backup, and not the Local Desktop Container. Selecting the Local Desktop Container will do just that - backup any mounted drives (contained) on the desktop.
Kyawa
Thanks Amy. I'm not the user of the MAC but I set up the PC network. The MAC uses Retrospect. Hopefully, once I get the user's manual, what you recommend will be pretty easy to find and do. Thanks again.
