drescherjm Posted August 31, 2003 Report Share Posted August 31, 2003 I have Retrospect Express 5.6.132. Will my DVD+R backups and catlogs upgrade to 6.5? I see a mention about using multiple drives. Does this work with DVD writers or only tape? Can I restore my data using a DVD-ROM because they are much faster at reading than my DVD writer. I have had a couple bad disks ($1 DVD+R disks) during backups the program asked for a new disk and then completly rewrote the entire disk. My question is what would happen if a bad disk was found on an append operation where good data was allready backed up and completed. Does this trash the disk and do I loose the old data??
