scohen
With Retro 6.0 client installed on Win2K server, I can't complete restart. I've reproduced reliably on Dell poweredge with Win2K SBS, and I *think* I also see this on one or two other Win2K servers. Ideas? Similar experience? scohen
I had seen this and initially thought it matched, except that we don't use the Open File add on. I also don't see where I'm offerred the option to do a "custom uninstall". It seems to be an all or nothing choice. Did I miss something? Quote: This problem is may be caused by a conflict with the Roff.sys file installed by Retrospect and your computer. Use add and remove programs and do a custom uninstall of Retrospect to uninstall the Retrospect Open file features to see if the problem is resolved. AmyJ
After install, and before a reboot, do a search for the roff.sys file and delete it. You may need to make sure the computer is configured to "show hidden files and folders"
scohen
I followed your suggestion by renaming the roff.sys before the first reboot and that seems to have solved the problem. Thank you!
