UGORIPE Posted August 12, 2003 Report Share Posted August 12, 2003 How do I tell Retrospect to grab the next blank tape? I have an Exabyte Auto-loader with 7 tapes. When I do a backup of 200GB, Retrospect starts with tape 1. When that fills up, it pauses until I tell it to use tape 2 (which is blank). Same thing going from tape 2 to tape 3. Any idea how I can automate Retrospect so that I can kick off a backup on Friday night, and have it backup to multiple tapes and verify without any user interaction? Thanks. AmyJ Posted August 12, 2003 Report Share Posted August 12, 2003 If you are launching Immediate Backups you will need to change the execution from "Run Interactively" to "Run Unattended" which is available in the Control drop down menu while a backup is running.
