DougH Posted April 5, 2002 Report Share Posted April 5, 2002 I have a LaCie CD-R 4X connected through a Adaptec SCSI adapter 2930CU with the latest driver 1.1.0 installed running from OSX 10.1.3 and using Retrospect Express 5.0.167. I can't get Retrospect to see the device, though OSX has no problems seeing it and mounting CD's. Has anyone gotten this device or similar to work? DougH Posted April 8, 2002 Author Report Share Posted April 8, 2002 I resolved the problem by returning Dantz Retrospect Express for a full refund. I will try Toast next, since it has a reputation of being more compatible with more hardware. Let me know if anyone gets this drive to work with Dantz. Dantz could improve their support if they would list drives like mine that are incompatible, rather than wasting hours of users time debugging hardware related problems.
