Re-Catalog Errors

I am recreating a catalog from multiple AIT tapes, which on completion reported execution errors. Do I have to re-create again, because when I re-catalog it performs no action, just immedeately updates the new catalog. Usually when I am restoring, repeating the restore will only fix the errors, not repeat the entire restore, does that also apply to re-creating?

Check the Operations Log - what are the errors?

 

What is the make/model of your backup device? While in Retrospect, go to Configure > Devices > Device Status and list Vendor, Product and Version for your drive.

 

What OS?
