svhart
Every time I backup to my backup hard drive, I always get two errors: File "___": differnt data size (set: __ , vol: __ ) path: "...". and: File "__": different creation date/time (set: __ , vol __), path: "__". see examples below. How do I get rid of/resolve these execution errors? Thanks, Scott File “Operations Log”: different data size (set: 8226, vol: 8285), path: “Barbara/Library/Preferences/Retrospect/Operations Log”. File “retrorunfile”: different creation date/time (set: 7/22/2003 11:34:07 PM, vol: 7/22/2003 11:39:35 PM), path: “Barbara/Library/Preferences/Retrospect/retrorunfile”. CallMeDave
Quote: How do I get rid of/resolve these execution errors? You can't. But, you can ignore them. They're perfectly normal. Both files are used by Retrospect when it's doing the backup. Both files change as Retrospect is running, so it's normal for both files to be different between the time the file is written and the time the file is verified.
