ToddLerner
Hello, Since upgrading my Mac to a Quicksilver 867 running OS 9.2.1, and also updating Retrospect to 4.3, my "compare" verification times are extremely slow. Compare's are now about 5 MB/minute, while Copy's are normal at about 55 MB/minute. I have temporarily had to turn Verification to "Off" in Script Options. What could be the problem? Also, what exactly does verification do? Does it recopy if it encounters a problem? Do I need it on? Note: I am running my DDS-3 12/24 backup tape drive by using a 6 foot scuzzi cord going to an Adaptec PowerDomain 2930cu scuzzi card. I also tried backing up using a 6 foot scuzzi cord going to an ATTO Express PCI Pro PCIDC card and had the same problem! Please help me! Thanks, -Todd Lerner (248) 474-0033
