pkazmercyk
Backup machine is PowerBook w/ OS 10.2.6, Retrospect Desktop 5.0.238 newly installed. This Mac has a validated 5 License Code. PC is running XP with Client version 5.6. The CP appears to load properly and is awaiting first access. Firewall is OFF on the PC. I can ping, move files, etc. to and from PC and Mac. Retrospect sees and can backup an OS 9 machine on same network. All machines have static IPs. When trying the login to a Windows Client, get "No backup clients found" message with "Click to Add by Address..." need more powerful (oooooooooh!) license, yada, yada, yada. This network configuration has worked before when my G4 desktop was my backup machine, but now, even that machine has same problem. I'm out of ideas. pkazmercyk
Tried updating the Windows XP Client to 6, but same results as before. To be safe, I uninstalled the 5.6 client software (at least I think it was safe?!). Still at a loss.
