bighmusic
I have an internal 80GB drive currently running OS 10.2.6 on a 69GB partition and OS9.2.2 on a very small 5GB partition. I want to re-partition this drive to add a seperate OSX partition, making 3 total partitions on this drive. My question is, if I do a full backup, can I then re-partition this disk, and restore to the new partitions (even though the new ones aren't the same size)? AmyJ
Absolutely - Retrospect only cares that there is enough space to write the files. A backup does not know the original size or format of the source volume.
