sunspots2002
I had a trial version of ver 6 professional on two machines. Once I purchased 6.5 professional I uninstalled from one machine and installed the purchased version. I later went to the other machine to clean up and unistall the trial ver 6 professional, but am unable to. When I go to unistall it tries to find the uncompressed files that were used for the install. These are now gone and so is the trail version (well I thought I no longer required this). How do I go about uninstalling the trial version of Retrospect? Thanks for any tips. Peter
AmyJ
What are the error messages? Can you uninstall through Add/Remove programs? How did you initially try to uninstall the program?
sunspots2002
I used "Add or Remove Programs". I get "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable". Plus, "Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'Retrospect 6.0.msi" in the box below." I went searching for the msi file and found that in actual fact I had moved the expanded contents from my download area to an evaluation area. Linked to the file in that location and uninstalled successfully. Sorry for the bother. Peter PS Thanks for the replies to my other 2 posts.
