Incremental backup to external drive-capacity question

I am backing up to an external 120G HD.

 

Since I am doing incremental back ups, eventually the drive will run out of space.

 

Here are my questions:

 

1) Does Retrospect 5.0238 have a minimum space requirement before it stops backing up?

 

2) Will Retrospect 5.0238 alert me to the fact that I have run out of space on the HD before (1) happens?

When backing up to hard drive, Retrospect will copy until the disk is full. If Retrospect determines before a backup that insufficient space is available, you will see an error message.

 

When you run out of space, your options will be to start a new backup set on another drive or recycle the existing backup set (which will erase all contents of the backup set).
