aleigh
I'm about to erase, repartition 2 of my 3 internal drives. My past experience with using retro 5 to restore OS9 bootable disks has not be real satisfactory (aliases were seriously screwed up). Is there any reason not to just do a finder copy OF my OS9 disks while booted off of 9?. I used to do this successfully in 9 regularly -- but wonder if OSX has now place vital invisible files on these disks. The volumes I need to backup are NOT currently used as Classic system folders. Other disks are strictly data. Thanks, alix leigh
