masa Posted May 20, 2003 Report Share Posted May 20, 2003 Hi! I'm using BackupExpress (ver. 5.6) with my seagate tapestor connected to my Windows XP Pro SP1. I created a backup script to do a 5-day routine script, but it asks for "2-MONDAY" tape, and doesn't accept my "1-MONDAY" tape. Can anyone tell me what I should do to fix this problem, please...??? AmyJ Posted May 20, 2003 Report Share Posted May 20, 2003 This means that either: 1. 1-Monday is full 2. There was a hardware error when writing to 1-Monday 3. Someone marked 1-Monday as unavailable (missing) Solutions: 1. If the tape is full, you can add the next tape and continue with your backup. If you want to reuse tape 1 and start from scratch, you can recycle the backup set. Configure > Backup Sets > Properties (on Monday) > Options > Action > Recycle 2. Check the Operations Log for errors (Window > Operations Log). Are there any errors? If so, check the Knowledgebase for applicable troubleshooting http://www.dantz.com/knowledgebase 3. Go to Configure > Backup Sets > Properties (on Monday) > Members. If member 1 is marked as missing, select it and use the "Set Found" button.
