Scheduled Backups Do Not Always Run

I am having problems with scheduled backups not launching. (6.0 Pro)

 

I am backing up from network shares to a worstation. When I leave work, I either lock my workstation or it locks itself after a period of inactivity.

 

I followed the instructions for running the scheduler service with a user logon and that solved problems with rights access to the shares.

 

HOWEVER the scheduler seems to be highly unreliable. I cannot see what circumstances are causing it to either run or not. I have tried enabling/disabling unattended settings/reboots as per another post.

 

Is this a known problem? I love the software and features and although none of the other software packages I tried have been able to provide what Retrospect does, none of them had problems with unattended use!
